K&K Insurance Group Announces Retirement of
President and Chief Executive Officer Ross T. Smith |
|
K&K Insurance Group, Inc. today announced that Ross T. Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is retiring from the company after a successful 40-year career in the insurance industry. Smith has been with K&K Insurance for over six years.
"I will miss K&K Insurance a great deal, but its time for me to move to a new chapter in my life," Smith said. "I’m pleased to say that I will be able to leave the company on a high note, as K&K is experiencing excellent financial results for 2009."
"I want to thank Ross for his many contributions over the past six years and his participation in implementing several initiatives that have resulted in a thriving business," said Donald P. Koziol, Interim CEO for K&K Insurance and President and CEO of the Aon Underwriting Managers group. "Ross has provided leadership through a difficult economic period and leaves behind a very capable team prepared for future success." |
