This program has been designed for U.S.-based owners and operators of health clubs offering programs and services that may include personal training, aerobics, yoga, pilates, free weights, resistance machines, cardio machines and a variety of exercise classes for members.  Coverage provided includes important liability protection for the health club, including its employees for liability claims arising out of the operations of the health club at a designated location.
                    
Eligible Operations
 
U.S. based health clubs with annual sales of $500,000 or less qualify for this program.
 
       
Ineligible Operations:    

Certain operations are not eligible for coverage by this program.  We reserve the right to decline any request for coverage.   The ineligible operations include, but are not limited to the following (and are excluded from coverage):
                   

- Unattended/unstaffed 24-hour key card/keypad/key code - Physical therapy
access operations or unattended/unstaffed operations - Physicals or stress testing 
- Annual sales more than $500,000 - Salon services or indoor tanning
- Childcare services/facilities - Saunas or steam rooms
- Climbing walls - Sports medicine
​-​CrossFit Affiliate Owners-​​Sports rehabilitation services/therapy
- Dance studios* , Gymnastics/cheer studios* - Sports skills instructional facilities, academies, schools
Martial arts studios*   or programs
Facilities located outside of the U.S. - Swimming pools/hot tubs/whirlpools/jacuzzis/cold plunge
- Ice skating, roller skating or skating treadmills  
- Medical, therapy or health care services
 
Liability Coverage
 
Commercial general liability coverage protects the insured against liability claims for bodily injury and property damage arising out of premises, operations, products and completed operations and personal and advertising injury.  No deductible applies to liability claims.

Notable Exclusions

The following represent only some of the exclusions contained in this policy:
                 
- Abuse, molestation, harassment or sexual conduct - Fireworks
- Acupuncture - Fungi or bacteria
- All operations listed as ineligible  -  Instruction/activity held on or in open water
- Amusement devices (eg: rides, slides, inflatables, bungees, (e.g.: lakes, ponds, ocean)
climbing walls, dunk tanks)  - Lead
- Asbestos  - Massage therapy
- Athletic competitions held/sponsored by the insured or in  - Nuclear energy liability
  which the insured's members participate  - Sale or distribution of herbal, medicinal and/or nutritional
- Boxing (contact/sparring)   products
- Cryogenic chambers/therapy  - Training programs for law enforcement, public safety and
- Cycling (other than stationary) military personnel
- Employment-related practices  - Transportation of participants/members
- Events, competitions, tournaments, camps/clinics conducted  - Violation of statutes that govern e-mails, faxes, phone calls
or sponsored by, or on behalf of the insured, unless reported or other methods of sending materials or information
and approved by us  - Wrestling
