K&K’s art instructor liability insurance is specialized coverage designed for independent arts and science teachers who work with individuals or groups. It helps protect you if a student or third party claims bodily injury or property damage resulting from your instruction, classes, workshops, or demonstrations.
Who should consider K&K’s art instructor liability insurance?
Independent art and science instructors who teach in studios, schools, community centers, private homes, or online should consider this coverage. It’s ideal for self‑employed teachers, teaching artists, workshop leaders, and instructors who travel to multiple locations or rent space for classes.
Why do independent art instructors need liability insurance?
Even careful instructors face risk. A student could trip over an easel, react to a material, or damage a facility during class and hold you responsible. Liability insurance helps defend covered claims and pay covered damages up to the policy limits, protecting your personal and business assets.
Does K&K’s art instructor policy cover me at multiple teaching locations?
Yes, the program is built for independent instructors who may teach at more than one site, such as studios, community centers, schools, or client locations. Coverage applies to eligible instructional activities at covered locations, as defined in your policy.
Can facility owners be named as additional insureds?
Many facilities require instructors to carry their own liability insurance and list the facility as an additional insured. K&K’s art instructor liability program is designed to allow eligible landlords and facility owners to be added as additional insureds, helping you meet contract requirements.
