K&K's insurance for large outfitter & guide operations is built for serious outdoor adventure. This program is designed for O&G businesses that offer a variety of guided activities including adventure/challenge ropes courses, canoeing and kayaking, hunting and fishing, indoor climbing gyms and centers, surfing schools, mountain biking operations, mountaineering, rafting, and sailing schools or charters. To qualify, management must have at least three years of industry experience. General liability minimum premiums start at $1,500, with a $2,000 minimum for new ventures in business less than one year, and a $2,500 minimum for mountaineering, ropes, and challenge course operations.
We also offer a Risk Purchasing Group Program for outfitter and guide operations meeting the following guidelines:
- Engaged in select activities
- Have gross receipts less than $750,000
- In business for at least one year or 3 years of equivalent experience
